Emotions. Waste of time, or fundemental part of life?

Firstly, what the hell are they?
Well, I for one have no idea. An emotion is when you're happy or when you're sad, and stuff like that

An emotion can't be bottled, nor can you save it up. You can't do anything with an emotion, it just is. They can make you have the best feelings in the world, or just feel like utter shite. They're very contradictory - For every 'good' emotion, there are two 'bad' emotions. And for every 'bad' emotion, there are two 'good' emotions. Emotions can make or break you, and normally do both

Maybe though, maybe emotions can be bottled. Think about it, we're human, yes. But, we're just a whole heap of cells all bunched together. And there are loads of chemicals and stuff involved in this mess that is a human, too. So, what's to stop you going to a shop, buying some chemicals and making your own emotions? Well, the law's kind of involved in that, see, you can get chemicals that make you happy, but they're illegal

Emotions are with us, every single second of every single day. But, plants, insects, animals, bacteria, virii and things like that, they manage to survive without emotion. In fact, they probabily survive better due to the lack of emotion. So, the question: What are emotions?
A waste of damn time. Emotions are retarded. They can, do and always will make you feel like shit. No matter how happy you think you are, all it takes is one event to trigger a retarded emotion to make you feel like shit. It happens all too frequently - deal with it
